The NVIDIA Gear Up for Battle competition. For just two days in the heart of Melbourne, the top 8 Call of Duty 4 PC teams Australia has to offer, will come together to fight for the title of being the elite team of this nation. Fray’COD sailed through pool play with 5 wins and 0 losses, racking up 80 points for and only 23 points against, thus enabling the team to be at the IBISQ LAN Centre in Melbourne this weekend to battle it out to be recognised as the utmost supreme team in Australia.
All eyes will be on the Frenetic Array COD4 roster consisting of Josh, Stace, Prawny, Dutchpride & Kenji for this event, as the two New Zealanders, Dutch and Kenji make the trek over from their home country as a sign of their passion, diligence and commitment to the Frenetic Array name, their team & esports. Previously missing out on the chance to compete in the Alienware 2010 challenge due to region restrictions, Kenji and Dutchpride are looking to step it up and show the community why they are two of the best that NZ has to offer.
Not only will the team be competing for the number one title, but also a share in the $12,000 prize pool on offer from NVIDIA & Gigabyte. As the hype builds this week, prestige, grandeur & pride await for the team this weekend.
