Frenetic Array

Over the last two days we have witnessed some of the best teams from across Australia come and play at The Roundhouse in Sydney. Although there were some technical issues along the way, it didn't seem to down our teams attending. We sent two teams into this tournament and we've come back with two impressive results. First place finishes, all round. Both our League of Legends team and our FIFA player Muzza performed very well during the event, both showing their dominance in eSports. 

The League of Legends team dominated throughout the weekend, with their first match against Noxious Gaming was up as their scheduled opponent was a no show, the team all played very well and it showed, destroying their opponent. The team went into their next match quite nervous considering the circumstances. The equipment that was supplied with was not of the best qualit, so that made the conditions even worse against top teams. Although we were up against a strong opponent in Team Gamecom we stood our ground and came out with the results needed.  

Soon we made it into the Winner's Bracket Final quite comfortably and felt really confident going into this map. Mindfreak weren't too much of a big opponent to us and didn't really think much of it. We won and that is what was needed from us, we needed to get a strong result before the final against Team Gamecom and have that extra edge. Going into this match we were certain of a repeat, we were hoping for another win. We saw, We came, We conquered. We came out of the event,undefeated and went home with the first prize.

After his win at ACL Melbourne, Muzza continued his winning streak through to last weekends ESGN Winter Competition. Muzza went through Pool Play in flying colours topping his pool without losing a match. Muzza pushed through Double Elimination comfortably winning his first two rounds against Addy and wow_Me7, both with the Final Score of 2-0. Succeeding in his first two rounds of Double Elimination Muzza played Karl in the Winners Bracket Semi Final once again proving his dominance 2-0. Muzza then came up against HumptyDumpty in the Winners Bracket with HumptyDumpty also winning his first two rounds in Double Elimination, it was set to be a tough match.

That’s exactly what the Winners Bracket Final turned out to be. Muzza won the first game 3-0, lost the second 0-0 in penalties but prevailed with a win in the third game 2-2 winning penalties! After his lost against Muzza, HumptyDumpty dropped down in the Losers Bracket Final defeating shevii 2-0. Muzza proceeded to play HumptyDumpty once again, but this time in the Grand Final! With the same outcome Muzza won 2-0 in the first match and 4-0 in the second
